How cool is that…I just worked out in the office!!
I just walked through the entire house (1700 employees) for 45 minutes and even managed 2 minutes of stair climbing… Now that’s what I call work ethics. Well, let me explain. One of my colleagues, Sonja, you remember her right? Well those of you who come around regularly might remember her anyway. Sonja has been on sick leave for a couple of month now. She is currently fighting the big C, lung cancer that is. As far as I know she started her treatment last Tuesday. I pray she will fight through it.
Anyway a couple of colleagues and myself decided to send her a get well card and have her some send some flowers or something, so I walked almost the entire house, from office to office to get them to sign the card and give a few €uros. We ended up collecting 74.40€, Yay.
Anyway, I need to rush, time is up and I really want to get out of here, since today was another day where I was flooded with work related stuff.
Oh, my monitor hasn’t arrived yet, so the chances of me blogging on the weekend look rather bleak. Despite that, I am feeling astonishingly energetic. My food choice yesterday afternoon WAS cauliflower and chicken breast. I even managed to have half a sliced cucumber and some 15 almonds alongside and still didn’t hit target. As you will see, I failed by some 300 calories. Sorry for that, but I am really trying to get to 1900, it’s not like I am trying to fluke out of my experiment. I am sure it will work today.
Due to the different approach, I have decided to fire the “Herbalife Friday”, where I would only have Herbalife and a few snacks all day. For now, that Friday has been killed off.
My workout yesterday consisted of 28 minutes of stretching – oh my, this thing really tried to kill me !!!! I mean, I knew my abdominal muscles do not qualify as a six-pack, not remotely so…but my Wii almost killed me yesterday. I couldn’t really do the exercises shown by the instructor and I doubt I might find the courage to try again today. Gosh, if the instructor had been human, I surely would have felt all embarrassed.
Anyway, I am off to start the weekend. Tomorrow, I’ll be teaching Life Saving Measures…so wish me luck. I need to make 1900 calories work – and not one more.
Okay, I am off to start the weekend, here is what I had/did yesterday.

Day 3
Enjoy your weekends everyone!
All is well…

Is this the myfitdiary? Congrats on your success!
No, it’s the diary, if you wanne call it that, of Loseit.com. I started using Loseit and now I am stuck with it.
I think to get rid of the herbalife friday and replacing it with real food is a really good move! Everybody make different choices for different reasons and it’s alright but I have never been a big fan of shakes or smoothies because I would rather eat my food and drink water otherwise my tummy thinks there is still a meal coming after the “drink meal”
I cannot wait to see what your results are after a few weeks of 1900 cal.
I should try the exerbeat stretching…I didn’t even see it on the game loll
well, as an ice substitute, shakes rock, cause they would never have as many calories as a “real” ice.
I just prepared a shake yesterday, dropped in a hand full of raspberries and blended it all together. Oh my, it was so good. But I agree, at the moment the Herbalife Friday is gone…and I will make it stay gone.
Yay! A workout at work! Way to kill two birds with one stone!
I’m happy you’re retiring Herbalife Fridays. It’s a smart move right now, especially when you’re trying to jumpstart your weight loss again.
It’s funny how when you’re choosing healthy foods, it’s hard to get to 1900 calories. I have to make a conscious effort to eat enough throughout the day, myself.
Looking at your “diary”, I think you can spare a few extra calories at breakfast. Any lean meats you would like at that time? Do you have turkey bacon or sausage over there? How do you feel about eggs? Another 150-200 calories at breakfast might ensure you get up to your goal!
Anyway, you probably won’t read this til Monday, so I hope you had a great weekend!
No, unfortunately they don’t sell lean meats like that here. Maybe I should have a better look but then again, I am leaving my place at 5:20 am and cooking before is out of the question. I have been considering though to prepare the food in advance and store it in the fridge for the next day. I’ll have a look during my break. I have to drive home during break today to get new beef for Kaya, so I will have a look.
