It’s Friday again – YAY!!!
I am still at the office but will be able to leave in less than 90 minutes. Due to the last 2 weeks, during which I haven’t been able to pull myself from bed early enough, I actually drained my plus time account quite a lot, but since I managed to make good on some time the past 2 days, I can actually leave early again today.
That means today, I actually have the time to workout, either in the forest or in front of my Wii. The temperature has also dropped to a bearable degree.
How am I doing at the moment?
Well, quite good I would say. I have discovered that I am quite hungry at the moment and sometimes I have devoured all my food by noon, despite the fact that I haven’t really worked out this week. I guess it’s because I have changed my food choices to some degree. I mean, there is a reason why a whole wheat roll has 220 calories and certain crisp breads only have 26 calories per slice. It’s only natural that I would get hungry again sooner.
I also had very little fruit this week so far. Watermelons are slowly getting more expensive now – well, to be honest I didn’t drive by those supermarkets where I knew that watermelons can be bought at a reasonable price.
Well, and I am not intending to go to any supermarket today, since I am trying to save up some money, that being said, I have to admit that I spend too much money this month – ARG – I haven’t even written about the water bottle for hiking I ordered, the book on nordic walking, the new sports bra, tank tops, shirts, 3/4 sweat pant, my first waist cut jeans (which I don’t know how it will look on me once it’s fits), the pedometer, the pocket belt (I don’t know how to call it), the map for the Kottenforst forest and … err, I think this was it. I think …
OMG, I really went on a shopping spree this month, didn’t I?
Basically I have overdone it this month. 😉
Oh, by the way, I need new glasses, haven’t been wearing my old ones in ages and since I started having problems reading in bed, cause I don’t seem to be able to read comfortably in bed – having to hold my book almost as far away from my eyes as my arms can stretch is a bummer!! 😦
So I really have to work towards that, because the insurance does not pay as much about the glasses here anymore, so I might need some 200-300 €. Oh and I am going to need your help everyone, to figure out which glasses suit me – there is nobody I can ask at the moment, so I hope you guys can help me. 😉
Anyway, I did find some new – well for me anyway – material on YouTube and while I am not a fan of gastric bypass and am thus not trying to advertise this option to help you lose weight here, I still found the stories of those people very motivational and inspiring.
Have a look.

Oops, I almost forgot to put in what I had yesterday, so here you go.
Enjoy your weekends people, I am off for now. 😉
Yes, you spent a lot of money, but it’s a great investment!! 🙂 I hope you enjoy your weekend, especially now that the temps are a little cooler!
I don’t have any insurance and haven’t gone to the eye doctor in over 11 years, but I know that I at least need reading glasses. I will have to save up for them, but I’ve found some that I really like.
I think it’s a great thing to experience hunger given your situation. I hate that feeling of always being too full from eating way too much and too often. At least this is our body’s way of telling you that it’s working properly. There is a huge difference in calories between some breads and it’s highly noticeable. I like the idea of having more food for my calories instead of eating them all in one slice of bread. Great post!
I have been spending to much money too lately! Maybe it’s the end of summer that makes us loll So you will share photos with different glasses on?
