This Page will contain before and after pictures of myself.
Do you know the feeling when you look into the mirror and think “Oh it’s not that bad”? I believe I seem to be a very likely person to be having that kind of thought. You never look at it the way other people see you and your body.
Maybe I have just always refused to allow myself to look at me the way other people do. So here we go.
This is the worst picture I could find of me. Of course worst is my opinion. This will be the place I never want to return to. The weight on this picture is about 341,7 lbs, so far worst case scenario!!
May 2011, weight 295,6 lbs, I don’t seem to be able to get rid of that darn double chin.
July 2011, weight 290 lbs, still fighting that double chin. 😉
Jan. 2012, weight 277 lbs, we don’t need to mention the double chin, ja, it’s still there… 😉
July 18th 2012 – weight 260 lbs: Double chin update, you can’t see it in this picture, but it’s still there. 😉
AWESOME difference!
I know the battle with the chins, I think my biggest weight loss triumph I will achieve, will be regaining a proper jawline, tehe SUCH a goal.
I am with you on that. 😉
The first place I lose my weight is my double chin. Unfortunately it’s the double tummy and thighs that I want to get rid of first! 😉
My body does the same thing with weight loss in the face first.
Hi Frozencream! Thanks for stopping by my blog with some good advice and some laughs (“you might have thought long and hard to produce something of meaning but hey, every now and then -” I read that to my husband and we both cracked up at what might come to pass if I thought long and hard to produce something meaningful… but I adore you for thinking I might!) I took your kraut juice suggestion. We shall see! LOL
OK, now I relate to the chins. I have double (and often triple) of everything. caused by eating double and triple of everything. How smart were you wearing a scarf in the before picture!
I saw you were considering a 5K! Woot! I suggest luvee pants to wear under your outer stuff. Ever seen them? You can get them online. I wear them hiking under jeans to prevent chafe. They work and a re comfy. Just a thought. I don’t know if chafe is a problem.
Hi Munchberry, just remember when you actually go for the kraut juice stay close to the toilet. I had the juice once without knowing what it might actually do, I was lucky to be at home that day.
Yeah, that darn double chin, I really hate close up pictures of my face, I once asked HArun to take a nice picture of myself “But mind the double chin!” I told him. What did he do, he sat down, while I was standing and took a picture. Men!!!
If I remember correctly then I think that the scarf actually had to be surgically removed after the winter…*lol* I would still be wearing it today. 😉
And once I start running I will most certainly get one of those. During the Bonn Marathon I actually saw a few people still running, despite the fact that there was blood between their thighs.
Keep it up Munchberry 😉
What a difference! Wow, you are brave! I have been working up the courage to put the pictures up on my blog! But then I think to myself, “I am a public speaker, promoting my book and ministry, people see me all of the time just how I am. So why not?”
Well about publishing my picture, I think it took me a few days to contemplate whether I should publish it. After all I thought, who cares? I am walking about this way every day anyway, so why hide it. Everybody knows I am obese, let’s just get over with it. 🙂
I got the courage to put the pictures up finally! I have done a lot of updating on my blog, adding pictures of what I eat, etc… Since you are a subscriber, does it tell you everytime I edit one of my articles? I don’t mean when I add a new article, but everytime I hit update.
Hi there, I don’t think there is a mail every time to update an excisting post. About the pictures, good for you. Keep it up. 😉
What a difference. Keep going and keep aiming high because you will do this. Great pictures.
Thanks chubbymumnomore, I am trying my best. 😉

Oh man, I would like to!!Right after my double chin, my double boobs can actually disapear right along with the chin. 😉
I’m thanking God for Victoria Secret push up bras now 🙂
Ja, I guess there might come a time… 😉
We need to see some updated pictures!!
Once I reach a loss of 80 lbs, I make sure to post a new picture. 😉
Hi Janet, I’m glad you liked the first chapter of my book. There’s some free video training (mindset stuff) online available to celebrate the launch which you can access here: http://www.howtochangeyourlifeonedayatatime.com/ Looks like you are heading in the right direction. Take care. 🙂
You are doing so great….so proud of you! You have changed your life style and it shows….
Thanks Tammyehoney, I still have a long way to go but the support from all you people makes it so much easier. Thanks for dropping by my blog. By the way your Apple Fyri’s Cake looks delicious. 😉
You are so brave to show pictures, and a great example because the pix keep getting better and better! Thanks for liking one of my posts…I’m here to stay on yours!
Thanks paralaxvu, I am not feeling like the progress is so visible but then again, I am seeing myself on these pictures and of course I am not as convinced since it is me. It’s a long and winding road, this weight-loss journey. Thanks for showing your support and there will be a new picture in a couple of weeks, I am sure. 😉
WOW! That’s FANTASTIC progress! Sending a telepathic high five your way
High five received. 🙂 sending one your way too, and I really like your blog. Keep it up!!
Great job, Janet! You’re living proof that dedication and doing the right thing over and over gets results. I may have missed it in the thread of comments but what are you doing nutritionally to lose weight?
HI there hannibal2003, thanks for dropping by my blog. 😉 Well to answer your question. My main focus *at the moment* is still Herbalife. I have one big shake per day. Apart from that I have changed to healthy eating habits, such as lean meats, veggies and salad mostly. Fruits and nuts are also part of my diet. I have some snacks like apple, carrots or alike in the morning, then past the day with a shake, which also contains a banana or frozen fruits and in the afternoon I have a cooked meal. Apart from that I try to work out at least three times a week. My choice at the moment is ZUMBA on the wii. 😉
That’s awesome, Janet. I’m actually an Herbalife consultant. It’s great stuff! Keep up the good work.
That’s great, I could actually also do that but don’t feel up to the task yet, still being far from my goal. Thanks for dropping by and I hope to see you more often. 😉
